It is concerned with understanding how psychological, behavioral, and cultural factors contribute to physical health. A key component of the training programme is a period of two years full- time supervised practice in health psychology, working with a minimum of two client groups such as patients/clients, healthcare professionals, healthcare managers, health policy makers, adults or children.
